Then I realized the battle is almost entirely stress-based, brought a buffed-up stress-resistant Crusader and several nukers and beat it. It regenerates health, has high protection value and crashes the game every time you try to hit the anchorman. The Sodden Crew, on the other hand, was a thing out of nightmares. Perhaps one of her moves should also be constantly shuffling the party the way giant's Confusing Spores do? That would add an extra layer of difficulty AND encourage you to bring a shuffle-resistant party along (highwaymen, crusaders, grave robbers, jesters, etc.). You won't hear me say that often, but I've had a rather easy time challenging her. Her signature move is fairly easily countered by taking along a few extra bottles of holy water, and even if she succeeds, she is nowhere near as dangerous as, say, the Hag or the dreaded Wilbur. The Siren is mercifully simple compared to every other boss enemy.
